The DTrace Topics collection uses the following completion ratings for its content, which are based on traffic lights.
| Completion | Percent | Description |
| ~ 10% | Not much content yet, this page is just starting out |
| ~ 40% | This page is taking shape, with some parts completed |
| ~ 90% | This page is complete, or almost complete |
: A page that is complete is one that has covered its subject well, which would usually cover all key elements backed by numerous examples and discussion. A complete page will continue to be updated and improved over time.

These completion ratings have been included so that:
- you know which articles are best to read (those that are complete)
- if you don't find what you are looking for, you won't blame DTrace (it is the wiki that is incomplete)
- it illustrates the "under construction" status of this wiki :-)
